This is where I share more of my weddings, engagement, portrait and lifestyle sessions along with some behind-the-scenes of all the magic. When I'm not working I'm still taking my camera around with me to document the travels, my family, and life as I see it.
Over one hundred and twenty years ago, the bride’s family founded the charming and quaint Colorado town of Buena Vista. As the saying goes, “Home is where the heart is” and Hannah always knew in her heart that her hometown would be the perfect location for her to marry the man of her dreams. Years […]
Winters in Colorado are something else. One of my photography dreams was to capture couples in love amidst a snowy winter wonderland. Who would have guessed that not only did that wish come true as a California woman now living in Colorado, but years later my own brother and sister-in-law would be one of elopement […]
If only one feeling is taken away when people view my work, my hope is for the common thread to be that love is always at the root of every session. Personally, for me there’s no greater gift than being a mother. I’m constantly in awe of mothers raising their children. The strength it takes, […]
Isn’t it remarkable how two soulmates can be born and raised in the same country, state, city even – but fate has its own plans for their kismet meet-cute outside of their shared hometown. If you need an extra dose of, “Trust the timing of your life”, keep reading. Bailey and Matthew’s love story will […]
That’s the power and beauty behind intimate motherhood photography. Some of my favorite sessions are between mothers and their children. There’s an illustrious magic behind this type of family bond that can’t quite be explained. As a mother myself, I’ve found more and more inspiration through different mothers around me to create this romantic maternity photoshoot as a celebration of the beauty of all women.
2020 certainly made history for a lot of reasons on a grand scale. But on a personal level, the good in people still shone through. Micro weddings still happened where they could, babies came into the world bringing joy to their new families, and love still bloomed more than ever in the digital dating space. […]
This year has thrown us all immeasurable hurdles. For the wedding community, it’s no different. More likely than not you’ve heard of a friend, family member, loved one or colleague who was forced to postpone or cancel their celebration of love entirely. For Janet and Craig, they took the well-known phrase “island time” and made […]
As a former Air Force pilot myself, having the opportunity to capture Emma and Chris’s Vail Mountain micro-wedding held a very special place in my heart. The pilot pair were originally introduced by mutual friends years prior but their relationship slowly and steadily grew into a romance that finally reached new heights at the beginning […]
More often than not, when you see a portrait of me it’s usually taken by myself or my husband. I’m big on self-portraits because if I have a particular concept in mind, it’s often easier to create it myself rather than be the controlling, demanding, and tyrannical client to someone else. So naturally, when it […]
On March 10th, I gave birth to a beautiful and perfectly healthy baby girl. This was my second pregnancy so I knew quite well how I’d be handling my wedding photography business this year. Particularly, during the early months of morning sickness (this phase is always quite cruel for me) and during the latter end […]
