Timeless Winter Engagement in Denver, CO: Bailey & Matt

Isn’t it remarkable how two soulmates can be born and raised in the same country, state, city even – but fate has its own plans for their kismet meet-cute outside of their shared hometown. If you need an extra dose of, “Trust the timing of your life”, keep reading. Bailey and Matthew’s love story will transform anyone into a believer of their destined encounter leading up to their romantic Denver engagement session.

Although the two both grew up in Tulsa, their paths didn’t cross there. It wasn’t until the fateful day they each stepped onto their college campus, turning the page of the next chapter of their lives. These two soon-to-be inseparables met during their first day at Oklahoma State University. It was clear their personalities were like two jigsaw puzzles that finally fell into place. Between sharing countless classes together (sounds like Cupid may work in the administration office of OSU) Bailey and Matthew quickly became close friends and finally began dating during their senior year.

Evidently, Bailey’s career took her to Chicago after college and Matthew to Denver. Fast forward to the infamous year of 2020, instead of keeping the pair apart the nationwide quarantine made them realize they couldn’t fathom continuing their two-and-a-half year long distance relationship for one more second. Bailey moved to Denver to be with her love and from that moment on the two couldn’t imagine their lives any other way.

The pair wanted their rocky mountain engagement session to encapsulate their new roots and the life that they’re building together. We opted for the bright-airy fields and rolling hills of Elk Meadow Park in Evergreen, CO to paint the picturesque scenery for their timeless Colorado engagement. The golden hour light was so soft as we strolled through the meadows together documenting their love. It was truly an experience I won’t soon forget.

Bailey + Matthew, congratulations on choosing to build a better life together than I imagine either of you could have apart. Your winter engagement session was magical. I can’t wait to continue the celebrations on your wedding day just days away from today.
