Luxury Vail Wedding: Winter Wonderland With Budding Spring Palette

Whenever I’m able to get together with like-minded creatives in the wedding space and execute a styled shoot it always sparks an internal fire. These shots are from an editorial photoshoot that was set up by one of my photography heroes, Lauren Fair Photography. The intention was to create inspiring and aspirational luxury Vail wedding content during the pandemic and subsequent lockdown. We wanted our couples to dream again, plan for brighter days ahead and still get excited to marry the love of their lives in new and creative ways.

So a small team of us dreamed up, planned and executed this luxury Colorado wedding styled photoshoot together. We all took the necessary precautions, everyone was tested prior, each one of us wore masks on set, and so forth. Our unique creative sparks were igniting off of one another and everything contributed in the most beautiful of ways. We whole-heartedly love what we do. When our jobs were suppressed by the pandemic, I truly feel as though all of our creative juices were overflowing. I can promise you this. A lot of heart went into this project, and it turned out spectacular.

In this mountain wedding winter and spring collided in the most magical way. We shot the european inspired Rocky Mountain wedding setting at the high-end Alpine themed Sonnenalp Hotel in Vail, CO. The wedding planner Bello and Blue Events did an absolutely stellar job with the winter wonderland wedding theme accented with spring colors and florals. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any more perfect, it even started to softly snow during the faux ceremony portion of the photoshoot. Pine trees were dusted in delicate snowflakes. After we captured all the outdoor content, we then moved everything into the hotel’s beautiful glass enclosed Ludwig’s Terrace that overlooked the creek and ceremony.

I want to personally thank everyone who was a part of this fun and creative styled shoot. We all need this outlet during such a challenging and unprecedented time. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of creatives to produce such beauty. We hope you enjoy and are inspired.
