This is where I share more of my weddings, engagement, portrait and lifestyle sessions along with some behind-the-scenes of all the magic. When I'm not working I'm still taking my camera around with me to document the travels, my family, and life as I see it.
When Paige of Paige Forden Photography e-approached me about a branding and lifestyle photography session for her business, there was a lure about her that made me so excited for this photoshoot. Maybe it was the words she chose to describe what she was looking for in this particular shoot and how she explained mine. Non-traditional, ethereal, airy, candid…she said. And those words melted on me like butter. I did my research, studied her website and all her social media platforms, and knew it was a done deal. I adored her and the day of the session couldn’t come sooner. Then I met her in-person and everything I imagined about her was real but better. Paige is a mother of three, business owner, and fine art photographer for motherhood. Her work strives to capture snippets of beauty in the mess and chaos of child-rearing. She spreads genuine love and truth through her images of families, newborn, and mothers. Although she warned me she wasn’t comfortable in front of the camera, I already knew I’d be able to capture the images she wanted because of who she is, what she represents, and the good vibes she gave off from the moment she sent me an inquiry e-mail to the end of the photoshoot.
We took these images at the Denver Photo Collective Studio in Downtown, Denver. It was a beautiful white open space that allowed the natural lighting to enter in and create a soft white balance in all my shots. They had plenty of furniture to choose from so we could create different backdrops.
