Denver Engagement Session: Pratistha + Sushan

Denver Engagement Photographer9.jpg

Ever since I became a wedding + engagement photographer I had always dreamed of photographing a couple with a snow-filled backdrop. And to be completely honest, when we were living in California trying to figure out where to move and settle to, Colorado was a top contender for me partly because of my winter wonderland photography session dreams.

Although Pratistha, Sushan and I never planned for it to snow and hopeful of the exact opposite for the engagement session photoshoot. But of course, in Colorado-bipolar-weather fashion, it sprinkled us with its snow-ey and flakey delight. At that point, we weren’t able to change the session date and had to move forward with our plans. And I’m just so incredibly glad that everything worked out the way they did.

Pratistha and Sushan, thanking you for making my winter wonderland session dreams comes true. Like snowflakes that stick together to create something far more beautiful than we’d ever imagined, so do the two fo you. Together, you two create something extraordinary, exquisite, impressive and magical. I’m so excited for your journey ahead together and wish you your forever happy ever after that the two of you so deserve.

What Pratistha is really thinking in this photo is “ Hannah is nuts,” because I yelled Okay, Pratistha don’t look so cold!

Can you believe these two told me they are usually very uncomfortable and awkward in front of the camera?? Uhhhh, I think not! I love to capture couples when they are being themselves.

There were so many beautiful details in this engagement session. The most obvious and breath-taking details were her henna’d hands.
