Bruce + Tara Wedding: Wayfarer’s Chapel in Palos Verdes Estates

Wayfarers Chapel and Terranea Cove Wedding-34.jpg

Sean and I packed up our equipment and were ready to leave Tara + Bruce to enjoy the rest of their wedding day night with family and friends. Amid the chaos of the celebration, the two walked towards us with a perfectly wrapped gift box and a huge smile on their faces. They told us it was a ‘Thank You’ gift for photographing their wedding. As soon as we got in to our car, like a child on Christmas morning, I tore open the gift until I reached its core. The cutest onesies, the tiniest hat and socks I ever did see. It was our first gifted baby’s outfit and the first time I realized this one was for our daughter and no one else’s–I held Sean’s hand and cried.

This is Bruce + Tara. The love between them is clearly evident. But the selflessness and love they share with others, even strangers, is overwhelmingly beautiful and refreshing. On their wedding day, I constantly witnessed the two of them concerned and looking out for others. The love between them was powerful, but the love they shared with the world was and is omnipotent. It’s people like these two that have me choosing to love in a world full of hate and anger.

Thank you so much Bruce + Tara for giving me the opportunity to capture so many powerful moments. It’s evident that the both of you give to others and care beyond yourselves but it was so beautiful to witness you two surrounded by the power of love on your wedding day. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for people as amazing as the two of you.

I love our Tara + Bruce added touches of green and foliage to their wedding day.

One of my favorite parts of the 'Getting Ready' photos is capturing her with her bestest friends

After the first look, I had to get myself together and dry my eyes. Then the ceremony came and of course, my emotions took over. Damn these pregnancy hormones.

After the beautiful ceremony, we had so much time to kill so we stopped by Terranea Cove for a bridal party photoshoot before heading to their reception at Miyako Hotel.
