Camp Hale Wedding: NYC Chic meets Colorado mountain whimsicality

Love was in the air at Kate and Jared’s dream wedding destination wedding at Camp Hale. With a mix of NYC elegance/chicness mixed with Colorado mountain whimsicality, this wedding was planned and directed by Slater Events. From the grand views of the Rocky Mountains to the scenic outdoor ceremony, this was truly one for the books.

Nestled in Leadville, Colorado, Camp Hale is a special place with a rich history. This site once served as a training camp for World War II soldiers. Now it is home to stunning views of the Rocky Mountains on all sides. The natural beauty of this venue made it perfect for Kate and Jared’s dream wedding. The scenery alone provided enough inspiration for an elegant yet rustic atmosphere.

Kate wore a modern and elegant Georgia Young Couture gown that made her look like modern royalty. Her silk gloves was the icing on the cake to this chic attire. The skirt flowed gracefully around her as she walked down the aisle with glimpses of her white western-style boots.

For florals, Kate wanted something simple yet elegant that would fit in perfectly with her modern-minimalist theme. Keep Floral did not disappoint! They went above and beyond creating bouquets of white, baby blue and soft lavender colors that added an extra layer of beauty to each setting in their ceremony–from the walkway where they said “I do” to the tables during dinner reception afterwards.

Kate and Jared celebrated their love surrounded by nature’s beauty at one of Colorado’s most iconic venues. It could not have been more fitting for a destination wedding like theirs! Every detail of this day was planned thoughtfully and executed flawlessly thanks to the planner and creative team.
